I am still waiting for FP notice, i got my EAD/AP/RD, for both of us.
It was filed @ NSC on July 6th, ---> CSC -----> NSC. I got my LUd on 09/21 last on our 485.

Sats123, Chanduv23 is correct, also reading that with the paystubs you can avoid the employer letter saying that you work in such position and for such salary, finding out what position they used to file your labor (did you find it in the database on my previous post) and considering that you are about to get ripped off, it would be advisable that you go through that lawyer that someone was saying charges 1000 to file your papers and 500 for your spouse;

How can it be less than 10 years ? Each year has 4 quarters. As long as you made your SS contributions while in LEGAL status, you will get SS payments when time comes.
It doen't matter if your were H, GC, EAD...
SSA has been cracking down on illegals however, so it might be wise to keep documentation of your leagal working status for future.
... and remember it's 40 quarters (which canb be acheived in as little as 8 years and 3-6 months if timed right.

my case is quite funny.
Applications went to texas service center originally.
From there they were transferred to California where they issued my EAD and AP but transferred the application back to TEXAS.
Oddly enough the only thing that i initially got in the mail was a transfer notice and the ead cards. I didn't get the receipt notice, the AP or a FP notice?????/
Any Idea whether anyone got ead without FP?

Why did you choose your screen name as 'Hopefull'? Are you hopeful about yourself? Or are you hopeful about others? Or may for everyone? Either way your message and tone of your post doesn't sound hopeful for anybody. Could you please consider changing your screen name to "HOPELESS"? This would help eliminate the hypocrisy due to your screen name. What do you say?

We need the IV core team and the administrator to guide some big rally's. Guys nothing will happen until we are bold about our intentions.
I noticed everyone comes up with their different ideas, but no one works to implement it. We need to stand together and do something big, when was the last time we had a big rally?
We all have our own problems, life in America is not simple, but in order for us to accomplish something we all need to unite and do something big, the problem is lately IV thinks too much and has less of ACTION

My lawyer is asking 350 for EAD and 500 for AP for each person excluding filing fees.Is it normal.or Can I go to another lawyer for EAD and AP who is cheaper than my company lawyer.

ramus, follow my posts in the past 20 days and you will see i have posted many posts for this AP expedite. I have a travel coming up shortly and I had only exactly 90 days from the date of application and date of travel. My application was approved recently along with my spouse. There is even a post where I listed out all the steps I took to expedite and finally finally only the local congressman phone to USCIS helped. its just unbelievable, but its possible. I have tickets that even if you postpone the journey I will lose money. I said to myself enough we lose with USCIS, and so decided to take all and any steps to expedite and get it done. just follow my posts (like start reading my past 20 posts) and I am sure you will find it useful. God, within one month they processed only 9 days applications, mine is sep 20 and i dont know when my number will come. Damn, they can process 25k applications in 2 days but they cant process 9 days I-140 apps in one month. so frustrating, my h1 will expire on sep 29th 2007:mad:
