I live less than 15 miles from TSC, my I-140 is approved from texas, but my wife's case(dependent on me) went to CSC. I don't know mine yet. Is CSC good or bad not sure. I am seeing they are approving EAD and AP faster than than TSC/NSC. My application was filed at NSC on july 20.

While it is true that EB 3 india will take "forever" for those with priority date after 2005, USCIS has been coming down heavily on recent spate of EB3 to EB2 filings. One thing to ask an employer who claims to file EB2 on your behalf is whether they have applied similar EB2s successfully for candidates at similar position that they are offering you. If they fail to provide a satisfactory answer, they are more than likely luring you with a false promise.

I would like to know How to file a complaint about labor fraud? I just found out that my employer didn't file 485 for me and instead he used the labor for someone else. Is there anyway I can file a complaint? I have no other option except to wait until the dates are current again. I paid all the expenses for labor, 140 and 485.

There is a very good chance that something will happen soon if we rush. if you are smart enough to think that filing on july 1st will guarantee your acceptance, then you are wrong buddy. As per the other threads and discussions from lawers , immigration officers, and info pass applicants that we have seen so far, uscis can change and will probably change the rules of accepting the application if the demand and rush continues. Already we are seeeing 45 days backlog of receipt.
besides lawyers just have to instruct fedex to pickup and deliver it on july 30th, how difficult can it be ?? except they should have little more room to pile up the applications until july 30th :)

Yes I agree, our history and way of working is also different maybe better/worse, but defenitely way more experience! I don't think I would want to change any thing about family , friend relations and the way we help each other. Even some of the ways we think, has a lot of advantages.

There are not many bubbles left to create, and the debt was never this high.

The growth of India should be more compared to Canada, that has a conservative financial system with lot of regulation. AKA no vegas.

Five reasons why I oppose immigration reform bill in its current form.
1. This bill in its current form does nothing to reduce the current backlog of employment based backlog of green cards. This bill infect reduces number of legal immigrant visas from 140000 to 90000 immediately for people who are waiting line legally and been paying taxes and contributing in fields of Computers , technology , pharmacy , nursing.
2. This bill makes things difficult/impossible of renewal of legal visas for me and my sister(both of us are on H1B).This bill changes renewal of H1B from three years to one year even if green card application is pending where as undocumented/illegal persons can renew their Z visa unlimited number of times even if they have no intention of applying for green card.
3. This bill puts more restrictions on H1B visa while awarding Z1 visa for undocumented /illegal persons with far less restrictions. Z1 visa can be self petitioned, they can work for any employer of their choice and job of their choice and they don’t even have to work as long as they go to school. H1B is far more restrictive, H1b visa holder is held hostage by employer and employer has to file the documentation for eligible candidate.
4. This bill does nothing to lift the per country allocation of green cards for legal/merit based applicants of green cards. If merit is the criteria for green card why should it matter what nation one comes from. Amazing thing about this bill is that if you are illegal and have a Z1 visa it does not matter what country you are from, NO COUNTRY BASED CAPS FOR UNDOCUMENTED/ILLEGALS (They are no more illegal because they have Z1 visa)while applying green card.
5. New merit based system that senate is planning to introduce is totally skewed towards illegal/undocumented people as well. Some of the key points, If you have a Z1 VISA(ILLEGAL/UNDOCUMENTED) and own a home you get some points in green card , If you are legally here and paying taxes and own a home you don’t get any points. If you have a Z1 VISA (ILLEGAL/UNDOCUMENTED) and have health insurance you get some points in green card, if you are legally waiting in line and have health insurance for whole family you don’t get any points. If you have Z1 visa (ILLEGAL/UNDOCUMENTED) and you have kids, Kids get Green card in 3 years. If you are legal and you have kids, Kids don’t get anything unless they become illegal and wait for next amnesty or legalization.
Please call your Senator and Congressman and let them know that this bill punishes people who are following rules while awarding undocumented people. This is not a letter from anti immigrant bigot who opposes every thing based upon talking points circulated. This email is a reflection of my thoughts and what I am asking for a fair deal in the process. Please send this to as many American citizens as you can.

Hi Folks,
I have already complained to State DOL since last 3 months and still their is no movement...i heard from one of my fellow employee at the precious employer that the guy received notice from DOL immediately but dont know what he did after that....and now he seems that he is closing down his company becoz most of people have left owing to his unethical pratices....he doesnt provides health insurance despite mentioning , says that leaves can be encahes only after a year..
and now cooking a new story for rather than sending the w2 , telling that u should receive notice for 25 k from his lawyer....
in india there is a proverb "ulta chor kotwaal ko daante" which exactly is the scenario ......
lets see how it goes but nothing seem to be working at moment:confused:

Thanks for the good work. However, I saw a major potential flaw in estimating the applications from ROW. The report finds the life cycle for a ROWer to submit 485 is 1 year, thus assuming little AOS applications will be filed in the coming year from ROW. But this analysis forgot to consider those ROWers who started GC in year 2008. A person who started working in 11/2008 is ready to submit 485 now and uses one quota, even if a person who just started working won't be able to submit AOS till a year from now. With this under consideration, I feel the spillover will be much less than initially estimated.

This will be a catch 22 situation. If they retrogress to 2004, then how would they know to process the 485 application based on PD. They will keep on processing the 485 based on RD. If they see some PD of 2004 or earlier, they will approve else they will continue the 485 processing.
Come on now, you may not have of heard of it, but I am sure USCIS has heard about databases. While I am no database guy, but I am sure something to the tune of
SELECT * from BLEEPED_UP_TABLE where PD <= CURRENT_PD and STATUS = "Still hanging on" will get them the cases that they need to work on.

You are missing it again. What is a driver license for ? Drivers license is a drivers license. It is a verification whether one has the driving skills and knowledge to drive safely on the road.
What has it got to do with job or immigration status ?
Matters related to Driver license are largely decided by States but with "Secure ID Initiative" passed in the Congress, some of the powers have shifted to the Federal Govt. Many aspects of Secure ID initiative are still work in progress but some of the states have taken pro-active steps.
Driver license is not merely used for letting the person drive BUT ALSO serves as a photo ID.
Your immigrant status is linked to how long you can stay in this country. Your stay in this country is prescribed by the laws established by USCIS, Department of Homeland Security and other agencies. Driver's license is the single most important photo identification is this land. It shows who you are, where you reside and if you are legally in this country.
You use your photo ID to board a plane, when applying for a loan, to deal with various govt. agencies etc.

Diid yu get an Answer for this my company might be applying in eb3 may be though i have masters degree in comp scince in USA , will this be of any help to folks like us.
How about this scenario:
EB3 applicant starts the Masters (in STEM) from US University after the labor is filed and completes while 485 is in pending status.
