Negative votes on this? Seriously? So what if they're breaking the jailbreak, they're allowed to do so.
And we're allowed to vote negative if we don't like this. Generally speaking in terms of iOS "security fixes" also means "closing holes used for jailbreak exploits". I'm all for closing holes like the ones that allowed the jailbreakme.com jailbreaks via Safari, but most of the holes used by JBers require the user to do some very specific things (like putting the phone into DFU mode). These aren't a threat to the average user.
I have a 10gig weekly download limit at school and having to download a 600mb update every week for my iPod is annoying.
No one is making you update.

Today I opened up Xcode and ran my project, and I got 2 errors, here are the errors:
Duplicate interface definition for class 'CIColor'
The other error is:
'CoreImage/CIImage.h' file is not found

Apple products are too often kept at RRP - not sure if its always by agreements with apple - "don't discount more than 10% or lose authorised reseller status"
Obviously good for apple products, but not for the consumer.

People are seriously complaining about $3? I mean, Jesus. I understand wanting bug fixes and stuff for a version for free. But you really expect this guy to give you major updates for free, when this is probably his career at this point?! Do him, yourself and the rest of us that have to listen to you a favor.. go use another Twitter app and shut up. He�s already said if he could, he would gladly offer an upgrade price for 1.x users.. but that�s not on him. That�s Apple and the app store.

I'd love to see Apple displace Google Maps on their iOS devices. That would be a major blow to Google and a major win for Apple and their iAd product. The more you tie maps into adverts the more personalized those adverts become. The more successful marketing campaigns. Apple can take iAds to the next level. :cool:

Just buy external hard drives and do they traditional backups.
This sounds good but here is what i run in to
1. I can fit all the media on my imac ( after 3TB) for streaming via itunes and AirVideo
2. External Drives are not backed-up via time machine
I dont trust the drobo for anything but time machine after my recent close call with it.
I currently do monthly backups to sata drives that sit on a shelf when not in use this is a pain but loosing many dollars of media is worse
Are there dives bigger than 3TB to install on my imac?

Unlike most of you spoiled punks who never owned an Atari or played in a real arcade, I did and this game ROCKS! $15 for chunk o' games is nothing unless you're still living off yer mama's teet. Get a job, even a remedial one like the Apple store and quit yer whining. You just suck in Asteroids, that's all.

I wonder if the Shuffle will ever have more than 2 gigabytes. It's form factor seems to limit it, not because there'll never 2 gigabyte storage that small (there will), but because you can't select songs. I wonder how useful a 10 gig Shuffle would be. (Maybe it would be useful... since I don't listen to music on "shuffle" very often, it doesn't appeal to me, so maybe I'm missing something.)
But on the other hand, what can Apple do? They won't be able to make it much smaller (still needs controls and headphone jack).
That leaves them with the only option being to make it cheaper.
Feature-wise, I guess wireless syncing, as it gets smaller the dock is going to be smaller and smaller (the current version looks flimsy, like it wouldn't stand up or something.) But there's not much you can do with something with no screen.

Dude... I'm assuming you're a Christian to be so up-in-arms about the holiday (but I don't think that's the right example, honestly) -- you need to also be more tolerant of other religious holidays at the same time such as Hananachaka (butchered that) and Kwanza as well as some others, I'd imagine.
Kwanzaa has two a's in it. Before you go slapping on others for posts about meaningless things (the guy can't wait for christmas, so what), you might want to open a dictionary yourself and get a clue.
