This "me vs you" attitude is what is unhealthy. Having PD of June 2002 is nothing to be happy about, either for EB3-I or ROW. It is just pathetic. We should all be together in this. Asking for more visa numbers, recapture, etc would be more practical for us

Let me put it in an other way..
If you graduated from an IIT or IIM the chance that you are here in the US is 5-10%. Or in other words, 95% of those currently doing masters / PhDs in the US wouldn't be here if they were capable of securing admissions into an IIT / IIM.
Atleast for IITs pre 2000's 90-95% of the students are in the US. Even pre 1991, the first batches like 1969-1985 etc have like 1-2% people in India. The trend has changed only recently, even then it is more like 40-50% students after IIT/IIM end up here (if not immediately, after like 4-5 years).
But it is true of the people in MS/PhD in US, 95% are not IIT/IIMs as there are not so many people that graduate from these schools.

After folks start getting their EAD, God alone knows how many "New" desi bodyshopper's like this will spring up.
All those so called "Enterpreneurs" a.k.a desi bodyshoppers...Perhaps if someone started a company that actually makes something rather than just contracting....more jobs, more value...

Thats true..everybody are bothered about EAD and FP. I am here for more than 8 years in this country. IV should emphasise this and USICS should allow affected candidates like us to file I-485 and atleast get EAD. we have priority date earlier compared to others.

Though I want to feel sorry for you I cannot. Between all the things you have written I was trying to find one small indication to know that you are sorry for what you have done. I did not find one. You are arrogant enough to blame the immigration laws for not permiting you to come to the US, but never really looked into your own flaws for flouting drug laws.

United States Citizens need an Immigrant Visas Waiver available to their Alien Immediate Relatives deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of Marijuana in order to even the scales on both U.S. citizen and Alien immigration privileges concerning Deported Aliens with a Drug-Related Offence of More than 30 Grams of Marijuana.
The way things are now U.S. citizens without a criminal conviction and with Alien Immediate Relatives are being discriminated against by their own government. The needs of deported Aliens with criminal convictions are being placed before their own.
It�s pure hypocrisy and it�s my family�s and my name being placed on the line.
I mean, really, how great can the U.S. be if it�s willing to lose their citizens to aliens like me when they decide to move outside of the United States to join their Immediate and shunned Alien Relatives? The U.S. government�s violation of my family�s civil human rights to liberty, freedom of expression and equality before the law is unwarranted. My U.S. family�s civil liberties to equal protection under the law, to due process and privacy are being discriminated against, they are not receiving fair treatment.

Come on we need to learn to forget the cold war days. This is 21st century and the age of facebook and other social networking platforms. the world is getting more connected and there will soon be no place for fighter planes any more. What we need is "food" and "water".....
Nature is showing us again and again the futility of our ambitions (regional and international) through her rather quite infrequent thrashings these days....
296 people perished this week in terrible tornadoes (worst in last 40 years!!!).....10000 or more a month ago in Japan earthquake (5th worst ever recorded!!!)....
People who care for food and not for security, end up losing both.
There will always be natural disasters in different parts of the world. US has a fair share of natural disasters, hurricanes, tornado, floods, earth quakes etc. This age is no different than any other, facebook and other websites only exist in the virtual world of computer programmers. The world is preparing for the next round of human supremacy. Humans will always fight wars, like it or not. None of us here make those decisions to go to war, its just part of human nature. The question isn't if we should fight wars, the question is, are we better prepared to deter one from occurring. Strong defenses is good enough to deter a war. So building strong defenses is a good thing.
As far as immigration and war planes are concerned, some elements in the US government think that its doing a favor on other nations by letting its people to migrate to US. Although, the truth is to the contrary, these things does have an affect on a much higher level, if not for individual application. So this topic is relevant to the subject being discussed on this forum.
